So ladies we all love chocolate now and again. Now you can indulge in guilt free cookies with dark chocolate that is packed with antioxidents and healthy ingredients. It is ideal as a power snack, but also feels like a treat.
INGREDIENTS
3tbsp ground flax seeds
170g ground almonds
3tbsp unsweetened coconut flakes
1tsp ground cinnamon
1/2tsp ground nutmeg
1/2tsb baking soda
Pinch of salt
1 scoop of protein powder I use Biotrust, but its up to your preference
1/2tsp of stevia
100g dark chocolate chips
3tbsp of water
2tbsp of almond milk
PREPARATION
Preheat the oven to 180C and line a baking sheet. Brush the baking sheet with oil.
Mix together the ground flax seeds and water in a bowl and set aside to thicken for a few minutes.
Mix all dry ingredients, add the seeds mixture, almond milk, chocolate chips and combine well. Divide the mixture into 14 portions and shape into balls, then flatten them between your palms to make cookies. Arrange them on baking sheet and bake for 10-20 minutes until golden.
