Made of flax seeds and almonds these are very nutritious and a great alternative to bread. Great with dips, cheese, sliced vegetables or crumble them onto salad or soup.

Crunchy Crackers

Ingredients
 
80g ground flax seeds
70g groung almonds
1tbsp grated parmesan
2tbsp miso paste
2tbsp water 
1tsp ground cumin
1/2tsp cayenne pepper
1tsp carraway seeds
 
Preparation
 
Preheat the oven to 180C, line a baking sheet on a tray and spray/brush with olive oil.
Put all ingriedients in the food processor. Blitz until you have a smooth paste.
Spread the cracker dough over the baking sheet. Put another baking sheet on top and use a rolling pin to apply pressure to the surface to make the dough smooth and even about 1 cm thick.
Bake in the preheated oven for 15-18 minutes until the middle is no longer soft. Allow to cool slightly, then break into pieces.
 
Then be naughty and eat with goats cheese (lower in fat than other cheese and high in protein). You can add onion chutney, but just a little!
