Frequently asked questions

Everything you need to know before booking your first session with Eliza.

Getting started
The first session is a consultation and assessment. Eliza will discuss your goals, fitness history, any injuries or health conditions, and what you want to achieve. You'll do a basic movement assessment so she can understand your starting point and design a programme specifically for you. There's no pressure β€” it's a relaxed conversation first.
Absolutely not. Eliza works with complete beginners through to competitive athletes. Every programme is built around your current level. Starting from zero is completely normal and nothing to be nervous about.
Eliza is fluent in English, French and Polish, and also speaks some Russian. Sessions can be conducted in whichever language you're most comfortable with β€” language is never a barrier.
Sessions take place at the gym on Rue du Grand-Pré 58, 1202 Genève. Outdoor sessions around Lac Léman and Geneva's parks can also be arranged depending on the programme and season.
Training & programmes
This depends entirely on your goals and schedule. For most clients, 2–3 sessions per week delivers excellent results. For specific event preparation or faster transformation goals, more frequent sessions may be recommended. Eliza will advise you based on your individual situation.
Just wear comfortable training clothes and bring a water bottle. Trainers (athletic shoes) are essential. If you have any medical notes or information about injuries, bring those too for the first session.
Most clients notice improved energy and strength within 2–4 weeks. Visible physical changes typically begin around 6–8 weeks with consistent training. Transformation results depend on your goals, starting point, and how well nutrition is managed alongside training.
Yes β€” fat loss is one of the most common goals. Eliza combines targeted training with her TCMA Nutrition Diploma knowledge to create a complete programme. Training alone is rarely enough; nutrition is equally important, and Eliza addresses both together.
Nutrition coaching
Yes β€” nutrition coaching is available worldwide online, not just in Geneva. If you're not local but want personalised nutrition guidance, get in touch via the contact page.
No. Eliza's philosophy is about guilt-free eating β€” finding healthier versions of foods you love, not eliminating enjoyment. The recipes on this site are all things she eats herself. Sustainable nutrition means you can still live your life.
Eliza holds a Nutrition Diploma from TCMA alongside her CYQ Level 3 Personal Training qualification. She also holds a Pre & Post Natal fitness certificate.
Pre & post natal fitness
Yes β€” with the right guidance. Eliza is certified in pre and post natal fitness and designs programmes that are safe and effective for every trimester. Exercise during pregnancy, when properly adapted, has proven benefits for both mother and baby including reduced back pain, better sleep, and faster postnatal recovery.
This depends on the type of birth and individual recovery. Generally, gentle movement can begin within days, but structured exercise is typically introduced from 6 weeks post vaginal birth or 8–12 weeks post C-section, with medical clearance. Eliza will always work within your doctor's guidelines.
Yes. Eliza's post natal programme specifically addresses core rehabilitation, including diastasis recti recovery. This requires a careful, progressive approach β€” certain exercises need to be avoided initially, and Eliza knows exactly how to safely rebuild core strength after birth.
